King Cave by Dawn Scarlett

Image result for king caveYUMMMY!!! If there is one thing you take from my review. Know that this book is a sandwich of YUMMY scenes. Differently new adult and not suited for the young. You have been warned.

Mrs. Scarlett has done it again.

Sadly we ended King Hall with the epic battle. We lost friends that we were just beginning to like. We begin with our friends traveling to King Cave.

There are a lot of developments in this story. We watch relationships grow and blossom. We lose those we love and those we could have loved.

We get to meet new faces, a lot of Elders, and Ezra's parents. A lot of the Elders are stuck in their old ways. Ezra's parents are funny and sweet at times. They're Vamps so they do well with the whole "dark and mysterious" thing.

Remember that forbidden love I promised you. There is a whole lot of romance and non-romance happening between two of our favorite characters, Ezra and Lily. I just love their relationship. The fact that they built their romance on top of a well developed relationship is just AMAZING. They were my favorite part of this book. They had a bumpy start filled with ups and downs. There were a few hiccups and misunderstanding but they try. You fall in love with reading their love story

The Mys World prepares for the war with the Commoners. This book puts a major focus on the relationships in the Mys community unlike the first which focused on the Mys relationship with the Commoners. At the end of the book, it mentioned the Mys and Commoners officially at war. I believe the third book will be like the first- focusing on both worlds.

Scarlett once again fills our life with romance, adventure, action, and betrayal. All the key elements to a good story

The first was a must read and the second does not disappoint.
Stay tuned for the third book

Gotta love it ;)

King Hall by Dawn Scarlett

Image result for king hallI just have to put it out there, I was very reluctant to read this book. I didn't know what to except and honestly I was scared. Let me be the first to tell you this book was freaking AMAZING. Start to finish AWESOMEsauseNESS!!!!

Scarlett creates a new world of Mysticals and Commoners.  Mys, for short, are classified into four parts. There are the Vamps, the Shifters, the Elements, and the Mages. Each classification is ruled by a King or Queen. The Commoners are humans with no Mys background.

Our main character Lily, goes to King Hall University. A special school for Mysticals. There is a common Mys. She is mated to the next king Prodigy Dominic.

Lily's whole world changes when she attends the assembly announcing the next Prodigies. Here mate Dominic get called to be the next King Shifter.

This book is show large but jabbed with information. You don't even notice the pages flying by. We get to meet many interesting characters in this book. Each King has a different personality with many different values. The other Prodigies Ezra, the Vamp, Pearl, the Mage, and Jack, the Elemental.

This book is back to back action and Mrs. Dawn has graced us with the gift of skipping the uneventful parts. This book has skipped weeks and months but you feel like you lived them all.

This story was so good I didn't want to put it down. However, this pest called COLLEGE kept getting in my way.

As the book progresses you can tell that the new King's and Queens are going to set to rules for the Mys World.

Scarlett throws out many elements into this world.

KING HALL is filled with love, heartbreak, secrets, reveals, a little bit of forbidden love, and a whole lot of friendship.

This is a new-adult, coming-of-age, type story. There are of course adult situations and language.

This book gives us a new world to fall in love with

A MUST MUST READ

Gotta run...πŸ€ΈπŸ€ΈπŸ€ΈπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒ

PS: There is a type of love story coming. So if your are looking for it in the first book don't expect much but stay tuned there is LOVE on the way.

Sentinel by Jennifer L. Armtrout

Image result for deity by jennifer l armentroutIt is time  to say GOODBYE. The final battle is upon us.

Everyone knows how messed up Alex was after her "talk" with Ares. Now she is trying to figure out how to move forward. There appears to be something inside her. Three guesses on what it is.

Aiden and Alex's relationship is threatened by an inside force.

Like in any war, lives are put on the line. Everyone is coming together to defeat this god.

We get to see a new side of Seth.

Be prepared for death, friendship, and a Happily Ever After

Thank you Mrs. Armentrout for giving us a story- a world- to fall in love with.

It's be real...

""They're going to tell stories about us." Aiden lowered his head, kissing me softly, deeply, and so lovingly that tears pricked my eyes. "They already are."

Until next time...

Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armtrout

Can I hate Seth? Seriously, can I hate him because this connection between the First and the Second is so freaking strong. So strong!

But like every other time in this series Aiden and Alex aren't far apart. They are together and fighting was always.

Personally recommend reading Elixir. It is the story told in Aiden's P.O.V. It  fills in some of the gaps in the story.

I don't want to tell to much of the story because this is one you have to experience for yourself. I will say that we see a new side and Aiden, Alex, and Aiden and Alex. We also get to know more of the friends we have collected like Solos. We lose someone. There is a reveal that you say but didn't see coming and like always a lovely, I-want-to-kill-somebody cliff-hanger.

Deity by Jennifer L Armtrout

Book 3 of Convenant Series

Image result for deity by jennifer l armentroutDecisions have been made and now the Second must live with the consequences of her actions. Granted, I believe she made the wrong decision but what do I know, I'm just a fan girl.

There was a a lot going on in this book. Personally, I thought that after Aiden's sacrifice there would be no more Seth. I love Seth as a character but I don't like his hinted position in a love triangle. There is only room for one love interest in my- I mean Alex's life.

What else happened... oh yeah someone is still trying to kill Alex. Seth and Alex grow closer but they still have a dark, brooding, totally in love with Alex ghost in their way. But I'm not going to name names

When Aiden and Alex get a moment alone it's crazy. Literally, they can't keep their hands off of each other. Plus these "alone" moments give them a chance to build their relationship.

The betrayals keep on rolling in. We meet some old friends and find out some truths that we didn't know before.

One of my favorite scenes was learning Aiden's story.

Aiden and Alex had this lovely scene is a dark room in which they talked about their fears. Aiden's fear:

"He drew in a deep, shuddering breath. "I'm afraid of never being allowed to feel what I do"

The feels- all the feels

There was also a point in which Alex describes how she feels about Seth and Aiden.

"But my love for Seth was nothing like what it was for Aiden. It didn't consume me, didn't make me want to do crazy things, be reckless, and in the same breath, be safer and more cautious. My heart, my body didn't respond in the same way."

And that should put all "love triangle" rumors to bed

That's all folks :D

Half Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This book starts off with Alex, out main character on the run. She is being chased by a creature called daimon. Eventually she is captured by Aiden who we learn is a Sentinel for the Covenant. Alex is a half blood who's main goal in life is to be a Sentinel. With her mom died and Aiden's crew capturing her she has no choice but to return to the Covenant- a school for half-bloods and their superiors the pure-bloods.
The Council of this secret society has very fun rules. One of them being that half-bloods and pures can be in relationships. If a couple is found out the half-blood gets turned into a soulless servant and the pure receives a "slap on the wrist"

Image result for half-blood by jennifer l. armentroutAlex missed three years of school so the only choice for her is to become a servant. However Aiden offers to train her thus her adventure begins.

We spend the story getting to know her, Aiden, Lea- her arch nemesis, Jackson- the flirt, and Caleb- the best friend. Alex spends the summer trying to catch up with her defense training so that she can go back to school and graduate with her class. During that summer she has to learn control and the true value of sacrifice.

This book is filled with action, adventure and a little romance between Aiden and Alex. They have stolen moments of sweetness and danger.

There is always someone lurking around with a devious plan and although we don't know yet, we readers know that betrayal is on the way. Alex does find out a potentially dangerous secret and reacts in an equally dangerous manner.

Definitely A MUST READ. It's young adult with a edge of new adult. It's fun and keeps you entertained through the whole book. Jennifer Armentrout has done it again.

Fire in the Darkness by Stacey Marie Brown

Image result for fire in the darkness site:goodreads.comThis book continues right where  Darkness of Light left off.

Ember is on the run. After the disaster she caused, then her escape from the Queen, everything and every one is after her. But it doesn't take long for a certain green-eyed demon to find his girl. Eli, of course takes her back to their compound. A good amount of the book is spent on this compound. Eli and Ember repair their relationship and build on it. Ember learns more truths and a lie. And you want be able to tell which is which.

"Shaking my head, I moved in closer. I didn't get Eli. Sometimes he treated me like an object to be tossed away after use. Then other times, like this, he helped me protect myself- from the exact thing I needed to defend myself from- him."

This book really focused on giving us the history of the Dae and the Fae World.

Ember is eventually kidnapped by none to her than the UnSeelie King himself, Lars. Lars isn't all bad. He finds people to train Ember and even offers to help rescue her friends from the Queen, Aneira. The second half of the book is mostly on Lars' compound.

However being on the compound kept her away from Eli- who was never far behind.

"My heart smacked against my ribs and my insides twisted into knots. Mindful he posed no real threat, I still was cautious. His glower slowly moved over my body, his eyes and face full of dark emotion. My body was aware of every inch of what Eli scrutinized and even more aware of the effect he still had on me. In comparison, my hormonal lust for Nic seemed mediocre at best. Air no longer pumped in and out of my frozen chest. Out eyes stayed locked on each other for several minutes and my body trembled."

Lorcan still won't give up his never ending search to find a way back to the Fae world. It is hard to tell where his true loyalties lie but I'm sure all will be revealed.

On the plus side, there is a prophecy. And like every good prophecy not everything is as it seems.

And of course just when Ember was trying to move forward in her life, she learns of yet another lie told to her by those she cares for. So what does she do- she acts on her uncontrolled emotions and jumps into a portal to rescue her family and friends

We get to see more of our favorites like Ken, Jared, Ryan, Josh, Cooper, even West makes a much needed appears. We also dive a little deeper into her relationship with Torin. However, I'm still not claiming a love triangle.

"The more time I spent with Torin, the more natural it felt being with him. I couldn't deny he made me feel safe and protected. Even in his limited way, I knew he would do anything for me. He had risked his life helping me escape the Queen a few weeks back. Just seeing me now put him in jeopardy. He was the only one I could turn to."

All and all not the most exciting book but if you want it's important in order to have all the information. Then again it may all be a lie

Good luck figuring it all out.

Darkness of Light by Stacey Maria Brown

Image result for darkness of lightDarkness of light- Yum. This book was just yum-central. It had a little bit of everything. It had romance, action, adventure. I guess it could be called a coming of age story because Ember, our main character, finds out the truth about what she is. To give a clue, she isn't human but that is all I'm going to revile. I believe the best part about these types of stories is learning the truth with the main character. Then again I'm into spoilers so if you want to know highlight the next word dae

Okay lets break this down.

We have main character Ember. She is sarcastic, funny, loyal, going through ,what some might call, a mild mental breakdown and she has two different colored eyes . The truth behid it all is that she is seeing to world at one time. The world we all believe to be true and the world she all see as fiction. She has two best friends Ryan and Kennedy. They aren't really mention in this book but they are a great support system

" Ryan always teased that Kennedy was the sweet one, I was the salty, and he was the spice."

Ember lives with her stepdad Mark- who has basically raised her all her life. Mark is funny, calm, and supportive especially when he feels like Ember is losing her marbles

The story really starts with Ember is trouble and being transfers to another school. There she makes new friends, like Josh and meets our main love interest Eli Dragen. YUUUM!!! Josh is mentioned rarely in the book but he is nice a funny. I'm sure he will reappear and be a favorite character Eli is a bad boy. He is fantastic, broody, tall, dark, and handsome bad boy with green piercing eyes. Her words not mine. He comes is with attitude and continues to bring in throughout the whole book. Eli and Ember have an instant connection of mostly lust but always the basics of true friendship. Now some may want to claim this  book as has a love triangle but it doesn't. Just because two people are interested in the same person doesn't make it a triangle. Now I admit Ember was definitely attracted to her dreamboy Torin but it wasn't the same as what she feels for Eli. Don't get me wrong it definitely has the potential to be a love triangle I'm just not there yet. Okay, back to Eli. Here is what Ember first thought about out hottie when she first saw him in the police station

" He shifted his head further back into his hood, making it impossible to see his face clearly. That, of course, made me want to see him even more. My hands balled into fists; the desire to reach under his hood and lift up his face overwhelmed me."

Some of you may see that as unrealistic but some of you know. Sometimes you see a guy and you just get an overwhelming urge to touch.

Eli is a part of ROD otherwise known as Riders of Darkness, a motorcycle club. And I love me a man on a motorcycle. YUUM! He is also a few years older than Ember.

Eli and Ember honestly can not be in the same room together. They argue and throw insults and the sexual tension between the two fills the room. My favorite part about these two is their secret language. They talk to each other without saying a word. I'm trying not to spoil how they do that but trust me, you are going to love it.

This is how Ember described it and in comparison with Torin.

" This wasn't the same as what I experienced with Torin. Torin could communicate without looking at me. I couldn't hear Eli's speak directly into my head like I had with Torin. This was more as if Eli's eyes were conveying to me what he was thing. I couldn't really explain it. It wasn't even humanly possible."

If we are going to be honest, I don't like Torin. I think he is weak and honestly and annoying pest trying to worm his way in-between Eli and Ember.

Eli and Ember also have some intense scenes. Like really intense, like some PG-13 going into rated R intense. Adding one their whole I hate you but I can't stay away from you routine and you just love every minute.

"He looked at me so deeply that it was as if he could read my mind. His fingers hooked into my belt loops and pulled me forcefully to him. My body pressed against his, making me tremble. He tugged off my beanie and swept his hand up the back of my neck, entwining his fingers through my hair. He gripped the back of my head and brought my face to his. My overwhelming need for him took over with dizzying intensity. Our lips fervently devoured each other, desperate and hungry."

And breath! Gotta love it.

And just when Ember feels like she has a hold on her life everything goes up in fails. She is betrayed by those she trusted, attacked, kidnapped, and forced to become her worst nightmare. But all in a day's work

This book is definitely a MUST READ. Warning this is, what I consider a new adult themed book. So there will be language, intense scenes/romances, and just all around awesomeness.

Tata for now

Spellcaster by Claudia Gray

Hey folks! How have your summer's been? Mines been okay. I'm trying to be a better blogger for book reviews and get more viewers. The new school year is about to start so we will see. Anyway enough about me let's get to the book. I recently went to the library and got a total of 16 books. I'm going to try to review and read them all before the school year. I'm going to be a junior next year with AP classes. It's going to be a lot of work with little free time but I'm ready.

SPELLCASTER, what can I say about this book. Well, first off it wasn't the greatest witch book I ever read. Claudia Gray is also the other of a series called Evernight. That series was okay. I didn't finish it through-got bored. This book had a good plot and the characters were good. I just don't think the delivery of the story was the best it could be. I got bored with some parts and couldn't really understand how Nadia's- the main character- powers worked. That was my main problem with this book. I finished the book. I loved the love part of the book and the villain was AWESOME and truly evil. I don't want to name the character s because names are a major part of unravelling the story.

There are some funny parts if the story. Nadia's story was very well developed. I was able to really connect with her character. The story is told in a couple different points of view. In Nadia, Mateo, Nadia's dad, Verlaine, and Elizabeth.

As a witch, Nadia, has to follow certain rules called the First Laws. I like the background of this witch story. No men know of the craft. Good witches are called witches and those who follow The One Beneath are called something different. Like all stories there are character's that will never be liked whether it's the jerk of a best friend or the villain. I didn't like a mute stranger who went by the name Ginger. When you read about her tell me what you think. Don't get me wrong what she did may have been justified but it was not right in any way.

There was a good number of spells in this book. The set up off the spells however left me very confused and I still am. I'd tell you why but it's something you have to learn on your own.

Mateo and Nadia were in her attic ALONE one day after Mateo got a messed up hair cut that left his head lop sided. Nadia decided to cut it.
" He said only, "You've cut hair before, right?"
"Sure. Plenty of times." No need to tell him that the hair she'd cut belonged to her old Barbie dolls, which all look demented afterward."
Funny and cute. Their love story was cute and sometimes annoying. Their I love you's sucked raw eggs but throughout the story you could feel them falling in love as you fell in love with them. Before I go I would like everyone to take notice that Nadia's mom is a grade a b****.

That's all we have time for folks. Join me next time when I review Crash Into You by Katie McGarry. The author of Pushing the Limit, Crossing the Line, and Dare You To. I've read both Pushing the Limit and Dare You To. I loved them both and I'm looking forward to this book

TTYL readers
BTW: I rate this book 3 stars

Dwellers of Darkness by Stacey Marie Brown

Dwellers of Darkness

Review may contain spoilers

DWELLERS OF DARKNESS (book 3 of DARKNESS series)

Book is for mature audience. Rated: New Adult graphic language, adventure, sexual situations

SUMMARY: Some days feel like years, but in Ember Brycin’s case just the opposite is true. She had only been in the Otherworld for a day or two when she returned back to the Earth's realm. But it is three years later on Earth. Em is now 22. It would matter if she was human, but she’s not. She is a Dae, part Demon and part Fay, with a little Dark Dweller thrown in to make her even more of a freak.

Seeing Seattle rebuilt only confirms she has been gone three years. For her it was not long ago that the Seattle area was just rubble of concrete and death. All done by her hand.

One thing that hasn’t changed, though, is her undeniable connection to Eli Dragen, who is sexy, gorgeous, and even more volatile and frustrating. But her problems go way past him. The Seelie Queen of the Otherworld still holds Mark, Em’s father, and her friends, Ryan, and Josh as hostages. Em needs to rescue them without, once again, getting caught and being used as a pawn to help the Queen regain possession of Earth. At the same time Ember is in hot water with Lars, the Unseelie King, after breaking her contract with him.

As some secrets have come to light others seem to become even more enigmatic. The only truth Ember knows is, everyone is harboring secrets. As Eli’s past is revealed, Em understands more clearly why he acts the way he does and how much their lives are intertwined. But she also knows Eli is holding something back, something that could change their relationship forever.

Em herself continues to wrestle with her feelings toward Torin and her own secret she’s withholding from Kennedy. As the tension for war mounts between the Seelie and Unseelie (Light and Dark), the tension at the Dark Dweller’s compound mounts even more as they prepare to obtain the sword no matter what the price. But is Ember the answer to the location of the sword? Is she the one to fulfill the prophecy? As usual nothing is ever what it seems.

OMG it's 3 years later. The last book ended on an epic cliff-hanger. We just learned that Eli may or may not be the ultimate traitor. Then the first person we see again- back on Earth-... Eli. We get back home to everyone and find out that Eli went off the deep end. Then we see meet Evil Brother again-- he doesn't deserve his name to be mentioned. Sadly I have to give the boy one thing, he can make a good plan go so wrong. Teaming up with Sam was the start of his downfall now someone just needs to push him over the edge. Eli and Ember are back at their love/hate relationship. Got to love them and that ;). BTW what the heck is up with Torin. I hate the guy. I really do. I can't seem to remember why. Oh yeah, he got in between Eli and Ember. BOY GOT ME TWISTED. No one gets between the couples I ship and I ship Eli and Ember HARD. Be gone Torin- no one needs you. I take it back. We do need you but I don't have to like it.

Can we take a moment and figure out what the heck of a game Eli was playing at first. Talk about hot and cold. But that boy takes hot alpha male to his own level. If you catch my drift ;D.

Now Ember I'm so glad she has some of her powers under control. You know except when she gets really EMOTIONAL.

I've decided that Stacy is just trying to mess with my head. Eli and Ember make up then break up, like Katy Perrys Hot N Cold. Just so we are all aware Torin and Ember DO NOT belong together .Just because the idiot Fey put a bond on them that didn't work like it's supposed to doesnt mean Torin has to pull the We were meant to be card. P-LEASE! Let that ship sink faster than the Titanic.

The Sword of Light is interesting. Only one girl can find it and there is only one sword. I love it when writers give characters one secret weapon to defeat the bad guys. Live or die. Makes it more worth reading. Don't you think?

Now what as an attitude Ember has. I get she has a hero complex. Yea, for her but she doesn't have to take it out on everyone else. Eli needs to calm her down [ may be like she calmed him. If you read the book you know what I mean]. Things are always better when they make up.

Okay so Eli and Ember as a couple and all is still not well. West is dying. [Ryan can't leave the land of the Fey.]

[I think Josh was the one who set the trap for the pixies.]

CHARACTER DOWNLOAD {CONTAINS SPOILERS}

Did I mention that Lars is back. [There are hints of a deeper relationship between him and Lily.] We also found out a major secret or three or twenty.

Lily, Ems mom- who isnt dead- is a hot mess who needs to go get herself straight.[ Giving teens/ young adults fey wine].

Those pixies- Cal and Simmons- are hilarious. [That trick they played on Eli. YES!!!!!].

On the other hand, Torin. is scaring me. Hes getting real angry and push-like-shovy with Ember. I think he needs to go. Right now he is just adding wood to my fire. Stacey- the wonderful writer that you are- if you could just fry Torin like left-on-the-stove chicken. That would be great.

Anyway Lars takes the crew on an epic adventure.

Cooper is renamed the Dog but I love him

Kennedy and Jared 4ever and are here-by-named CUTEST COUPLE.

Eli and Embers eye-talk is still as hot as ever

Josh is a little to sneaky [Josh is a traitor. I knew it! Ahh! Hate him so much. All the clues are there. The sneaking around, being extra nosey. A traitor who was too naΓ―ve for his own good and living his famtasy. Josh I hope you die I THINK] pay extra attention to this little human.

I really love to hate cliff-hangers or even unsolved problems. Don't you? I'm not sure I can call the end of this a cliffhanger but it was just NOT COOL. Especially the scenes before. Just wrong people bit like I said LOVE TO HATE. This book was Amazing and I can't wait for the fourth one. Tell me what you think.

TTYL readers and try not to kill anyone after you read this. Yes, there will be an Urge

Allegiant by Veronica Roth Review Part II

Sidebar: I’m sorry but I could wait to post this.

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS

“…I didn’t want to leave him…” One of the saddest, most reassuring quotes to ever hit this series

Okay so I am here and now. A little calmed down. It’s time I sent this out…

This book was…. probable one of the best books I’ve ever read. It had me all over the place left to right, up and down. I was seriously crying all through the epilogue. I-as so many others-truly connected to this book. I thought the author gave us something to fear and look forward to. That’s what any good author should do. Give the readers a reason to read. I’d like to point out that I DO NOT approve of the ending. So I guess I’ll start from the beginning.

Evelyn has taken over as we saw at the end of Insurgent. She and her fractionless member have all the weapons and dominate the remainder. At the beginning Tris, Cara, and Christine are about to stand trail. In walks everyone’s favorite Four or Tobias. Now at this time Evelyn believes the Four and Tris are broken up but- thank the heavens- they aren’t. He has to pretend to be on her side to gain her trust- Evelyn’s I mean. Anyway they give Tris the truth serum and of course she lies to save Cara and Christine. Anyway the story progresses and things heat up.

There is a new rebel group in the works. This group is called Allegiant. I know – the connects to the title. I nearly died with shock too. Anyway, this group is semi ran by Cara and she invites the Dauntless to join her movement. And of course they do because they all want out of the city that is slowly but surely killing themselves. Even Tori joins the journey towards life over the fence. And you know hat happened. Veronica Roth thought  it would be a good idea to KILL HER. She was in the lead after they left the cars and Veronica Roth shot her to death. And I should have known, I should have known that this event was a sign. Veronica Roth was sending a message and I got it too late.

Peter, Caleb, Uriah, Christine, Cara, and Tris all made it over the fence and that’s where things got complicated. Before I hit that, let me go back. We all know what happened in Insurgent when Caleb hit all of our BLACK LIST. Well there was a trail and he was found guilty. Tris decided she didn’t want him to be killed so Four being the AWESOMENESS he is, broke Caleb out of his prison cell.

Okay we are back, outside the fence is different. The group is introduced to airplanes and major information that was other wise blocked from. If you read the book you know what I am talking about. If you haven’t I still not going to say it because there is A LOT of stuff we didn’t think was still around.(And besides if you haven’t read the book you shouldn’t be reading this. Unless you are like me and what to know what happens before you read the book). During this time a lot of drama happens and I mean A LOT!!!! Our favorite couple nearly breaks-up! It was seriously too much for one day but me being the idiot I am, read it in one day anyway. WORST IDEA EVER!!!!!

During their stay on the outside Four make some serious mistakes. Did I forget to mention that is was in dual point of view. Anyway, he makes a made decision after he finds out what being a Divergent really is. Then he makes a mistake with this chick. And it’s worst then you think. But in the end Tris and Four make up and have some stolen kisses here and there. They were really in lone Tris and Four, even in the end and during the battles when nothing went their way; they had some of the strongest love I’ve ever read. That is why for now until forever I am claiming the Divergent series an epic love story, not sy-fy or any other category you think you can put it in. It’s an epic love story for the ages.

But leave it to Tris and Four to find trouble. And boy do they find it. This trouble is different from the past fights and battles they have been in. The end result is getter than anything. Then again left it to Tris to save the day but at what cost this time. What cost? is always the question. And in the final installment of the Divergent series the cost is one that will stay with me forever.

SERIOUSLY MAJOR, MAJOR SPOILERS

BTW, the cost was her life. The plan was to send Caleb in to stop the attack on their friend and families only they got caught. In the heat of the moment Tris took Caleb place. She was able to past the death serum but a gunshot is fatal. She stopped the attack- of course she did- but in the end she went home to her mom and dad. Leaving everyone with her wisdom and sacrifice that made all their lives better. Meanwhile in the fractions Peter, Arum- yes the Arum from Divergent the Four talked about. He is alive- Christine and Four go try and save Christine’s family and Uriah family. You know Uriah’s family his brother Zeke and his mom. Well, Uriah was in the hospital with a fatal head injury and he wasn’t going to wake up. Plus in Four’s pocket he had a memory serum that took away the memory of whoever drank it. In the fractions Marcus and Evelyn were at war and needed to be stopped. Four offered the serum to his mom. If she drank it, he and her could be a family again;she just needed to stop this war before it began. His mom chose him in the end. She compromised with the Allegiant group and Marcus was unofficially exiled. When the group got back Tris was gone. Four was destroyed beyond repair. An absolute mess. He almost ended up taking the memory serum but Christine talked him out of it.

Uriah ended up dying and Peter took the memory serum. He wanted to erase all the evil in him. He became better in the end.

The epilogue began 2 1/2 years later on what was supposed to be Choosing Day. On that day the gang met up again to finally spread Tris’ ashes. On that day, Four finally zip-lined for his girl. At the end of the book we never found out if they actually spread the ashes but you can guess. It was time to release her. Four and everyone around Tris are better because of her and they prove it each and every day.

Even through Diveregent is Tris’ story in the end it was Four who survived. Who carried her around . Who survived her death with us- who just plain SURVIVED! The boy lost the love of his life, his mom and his dad. Luckily he got his mom back, his dad disappeared but his girl wasn’t coming back. No matter how long I held my breath, Tris wasn’t coming back.

In short this book gave us a twist no one saw coming. But Tris did what she did best SAVED THE WORLD. And everyone did what they did best SURVIVED and that all we readers can do. Close the book and try to move on.

GOOD LUCK to you all because at this point in time, moving on seems pretty damn hard.

PS: I never could determine what the water sign symbolizes so if someone could tell me I’d be grateful. Besides we all still have the movie to look forward to. I don’t know about you but I can wait to see how they turn this book into a movie.

TTYL Divergents and Good Luck with the rest of your lives….

Allegiant by Veronica Roth Review Part I

So I am sure everyone has been freaking out for this book. I know I have. I was dying after the end of Insurgent. Waiting… watching the date… as it ticked by and gave us the final installment of this AMAZING series. The only thing is, I wasn’t ready for this book. I thought it was going to be a Happily Ever After for now until for and ever. I wasn’t ready for the emotionally rollercoaster this book set me on. I wasn’t ready for the betrayal, the forgiveness, the heartbreak… the TEARS. I wasn’t ready for the end now matter how sort of happy it was. I must warn you now this book will not be predictable, understandable, or bearable. Veronica Roth takes your happiness, your sadness, and all your other feels and rips them from you until your bare. Just bare, not knowing what to do.

Now I am going to have two parts to this review. This is part one when I don’t really say anything. I get all the information out and most likely the in the second week of November I will post the real review where I break down everything because this is the end and from here I have no where else to go.

And could you tell me what the water sign means because I still can’t tell

Sneak Peek- Rock Bottom by R.K. Lilley

OMG guess what I found. Okay, I'll tell you. I found the prologue and first chapter of the next installment of Tristan and Danika's story.

PROLOGUE

DANIKA
I took a deep breath, my face buried in the most divine chest in the world.  I’d been awake for a while, but I didn’t even think about getting up.  I wasn’t sure If I was more wrapped around Tristan, or he me.  We’d gone to sleep clutching each other, and from what I could tell, neither of us had moved an inch.
My leg was thrown over his hip, my arm around his side, a fistful of his T-shirt gripped in my hand like I was holding on for dear life.  I was lying on my other arm, enough weight on it that it’d gone numb, and still, I didn’t even think about moving.
His arm was thrown over my shoulders, one leg pushed high between mine.  I could feel my own T-shirt riding up to my ribs, his hand gripping a handful of it at my back.  We’d been mirroring each other, clinging for dear life, even in sleep.
I felt him stir, and I lifted my head to look up at him.
His beautiful golden eyes were blinking, still blank from sleep.  I witnessed his transformation from sweet oblivion and into dawning horror as he remembered.
I thought that might have been the worst thing about losing someone, that moment between asleep and awake, when you had to remember and accept the loss again, relive that moment when your life changed, and you lost something dear.   It had been just over a month since his brother’s funeral, and he was still reliving that horrible moment of realization every morning.
Two days after the funeral, Tristan’s mother had asked him to leave her home and not come back.  As wrong as it was, it was clear she was placing all of the blame for Jared’s death at Tristan’s door.  I thought he’d taken the falling out well, considering all he’d been through, and I’d been confident that she’d change her mind after she made it out of her own grief, but so far she was holding firm in her pique.  It was a struggle for me not to get mad at her.  But I told myself, over and over, that she was just hurting bad, and that much pain could spill outward.  She loved Tristan, and so she would get over this.
Tristan had taken her rejection well, all things considered, but he needed me now more than ever, and I was determined to get him through this.
He’d spent the past month basically glued to my side.  He still had his apartment, but he’d slept over at Bev’s house every single night since we’d left his mother’s.  He didn’t want to be alone for even a second, and I understood.  Solitude was perhaps a necessary component when dealing with grief, but I could not deny this man anything.
We didn’t go out, spending our days playing with the boys, and our nights watching re-runs  of Jerry’s all time favorite show, Arrested Development, over and over again, until we could quote the episodes to each other.  We’d make love, fall asleep, then make love again.  It was a time of comfort and distraction, of love and avoidance.
To this day, I thought back on those days as the most bittersweet of escapes.
His eyes shut tightly, and his lips sought out mine, seeking comfort through touch.  I gave it to him.  I was ready and willing to give him absolutely everything.
His fingers let loose their grip on my shirt, skimming up along my back, peeling it off me in a few smooth, swift motions.  His shirt received the same treatment from my impatient hands.  I rubbed my chest to his, as we made direct contact, skin on skin.
He dragged off my panties while I dragged off his boxer-briefs, kissing every part of his body that I could reach, sucking his nipple hard into my mouth until he gasped and tugged me away, his hands in my hair.
He slid his hands down to my hips, gripping tight.  He rolled onto his back, and pulled me up to straddle him.  “Ride me,” he told me gruffly, using those big hands to tug me into place over his erection.
I arched my back, using one hand to balance on his chest while the other guided him to my entrance.  I rubbed him there, letting him feel how ready I was, and just loving the feel of his tip playing over me.
His hips bucked underneath me, pushing him in far enough to make me gasp.  “Now,” he growled, “I can’t wait.”
I pushed down while he surged up, seating me to the hilt.
My eyes closed, my head falling back as sensation overtook me.
I stayed still, just enjoying that perfect contact, until his impatient hands tugged at my hips, urging me to move.  I circled at first, a teasing motion that had him gripping my ass and moaning.
I bit my lip and worked into a rhythm, rocking back and forth, back and forth.
He brought one hand up, kneading at my breast, his other sliding up my thigh, going unerringly to my clit, rubbing in a circle that brought me to the threshold of release deliciously, leisurely.
Those magic hands never missed their mark.
“Please,” I cried, quickening my pace.
He worked me faster, and I froze and shook like I had a fever, letting the waves of rapture take me.  I felt him jerking inside of me as I came back down from that addictive high, his face arrested in his own gratifying release.  I loved to watch him come, and I held as still as I could, impaled on him, until his eyes opened, and he blinked up at me.
I folded down to lay against him, burying my face in the side of his neck, breathing him in.
He always smelled divine.  Like home.
“I love you,” he rasped out.  He said it all the time.  He didn’t hold it back, now that he’d admitted it, but it still gave me butterflies, every single time.
“I love you,” I spoke softly into his ear.
He gripped me harder.  “I can’t ever lose you, Danika.  I’m not sure I’d survive it.”
“You’ve got me.  And I’m not going anywhere.  Not ever.”
I meant the words when I said them, but life had other plans for us.
I was, by nature, a fighter, and no one could say I didn’t fight for us.
I’d have given my life for that fight.
In fact, I very nearly did.

First Chapter

TRISTAN
I was shrugging into a dark blue T-shirt when I froze mid-motion, not quite believing my eyes.
“There is no fucking way you are wearing that,” I told her, sitting down on the edge of my bed to watch her, equal parts pissed off and turned on at the sight of her.
She was wearing tiny black cheer shorts that didn’t belong outside of a bedroom, and a black half-shirt that read ‘Fuck No’.  It left all of the skin bare from two inches below her naval to the top of her ribs, just covering her breasts.  She wasn’t even wearing a bra.
My jaw went slack, my eyes glued to the sight.
She didn’t have huge breasts, but they were a handful, and they were fucking perfect, soft and pliant in my hands, and when real tits went braless, there was no mistaking it.
“Fucking no way in hell.”
“I can’t wear a bra after the tattoo, and the half-shirt makes it so I won’t have to take off my top for the cameras.  Frankie told me exactly what to wear, and I’m wearing it, so wipe that Neanderthal look off your face.”  As she spoke she twisted her hair into a bun on top of her head, the shirt riding up, bearing the undersides of her breasts.
“Are you fucking serious?”
She rolled her eyes, completely blowing me off as she slipped into flip-flops.
“It’s important for me to be comfortable and properly prepared, Frankie says.  If you can’t behave yourself, you are staying home.”
“Are you fucking serious?” I repeated.  “I took a week off just for this, and you’ve had to postpone it for weeks, just so I could go with you.”
“So behave yourself if you actually want to come.”
I clenched my jaw to keep from arguing, counting to ten, my eyes glued to the front of her shirt.
“Fuck No?” I asked her.
“Frankie says it’s a great way to let the censors keep you modest.  If my nipples are hard, they won’t pick it up, because they’ll already be blurring the word fuck.  She loaned me the shirt.”
No shit, I thought.  It was clearly a Frankie creation.
She moved to stand in front of me, hands on her sexy little hips.  I reached up, palming her breasts with both hands.  I closed my eyes, not quite managing to stifle a groan.
“We’re already late, Tristan, and the camera crew is on a tight schedule.”
My eyes snapped open to glare at her.  I lifted her shirt that minuscule degree it took to bare her tits, cursing loudly and fluently as I leaned forward, framing her breasts in my hands and sucking one hard nipple into my mouth.
“I’m going to pin you to that table when she’s done with you and fuck your brains out.”
She gasped, and one of my hands snaked down, sliding into the waistband of her shorts to finger her.  I yanked it out with a curse, using the leg of her shorts instead to ram my finger into her hard.
“If I can get at your pussy this easy, that’s a good sign that your shorts are too tiny.”
Her hips twitched, moving on my finger, and I went back to sucking on her nipple and working her on my finger.
I waited until she was close and pulled away, extricating my finger slowly, teasingly.  “We’re late, boo.  Remember?  Tight schedule.”
She glared at me, backing away.
I grinned at her and winked.
I could barely keep my eyes on the road as we drove to Frankie’s tattoo parlor, glancing over at her every time she shifted on her seat.
She was jittery with excitement, and every movement, every twitch of her body was distracting in that barely there excuse of an outfit.
I fondled her with one hand until she moaned, trying to push my hand away.
“Quit teasing me,” she complained.  “I don’t want to be turned on right now.  It’s going to be hours before we can do anything about it.”
“Well, tough shit,” I told her, sending her a sidelong smile.  “You know what that outfit is?  It’s a tease.  You’re only getting what you’re dishing out right now.”
She lifted her shirt, and my hand was suddenly kneading at her bare skin.
Fuck.
I glanced over.
She was folding the band of her shorts down, making them even tinier, and pulling the waistband open wide.  She grabbed my hand and slid it down her body, cupping my hand over her sex, shifting until she could force one of my big fingers inside of her.
I yanked my hand away, and refused to look at her for the rest of the drive.  As always, she’d won the teasing contest.  She was the uncontested champ.
I should have known better than to go there.
I put my arm around her like the overprotective boyfriend I was as we walked through the casino, glaring at every asshole that stopped to stare at her.
“Fucking pinning you to that table as soon as she’s done.  Going to fuck until we’re both fucking raw,” I muttered under my breath, making her giggle.  I wasn’t even close to joking.
She tried to hug Frankie when she we got to the shop, but I got in between them, giving Frankie a pointed look.  “You talked her into wearing this, but you sure as hell aren’t feeling her up while she does it.”
Frankie just laughed.
Danika punched me in the shoulder.
I stood back, arms folded across my chest as the TV producer did a brief interview for the show about her tattoo.  She blushed and giggled and told a little story about how she’d always loved cherry blossoms.
She was adorable, and I was counting the seconds until I could fuck her brains out again.
They did a lot of closeups of the spot on her back where the ink was going.  Frankie held up a square of paper that was about three by five inches, illustrating exactly where and how she planned to place her precise sketch of a cherry blossom branch, left of her spine, the top ending right where her shoulder blade started.  It was beautiful, as I’d known it would be.  Frankie’s work was always excellent.
I stood at Danika’s head, holding both of her hands for hours while Frankie worked, wanting to punch each member of the camera crew nearly every second of those hours.
The work was slow and fascinating.  Watching Frankie work was always a treat, but watching Danika’s lovely back becoming even more exquisite with an intricate piece of art was an experience.
And of course it turned me on.
Danika took the pain well.  I’d crouch down to check her expression, and only occasionally were her eyes squeezed tight with pain.  Mostly, they were clear, and excited about seeing the results.
I took down her hair, and stroked it, and even bent down to kiss her face when Frankie took the needle off for brief breaks while she switched ink, or wiped the area.
The final result was well worth the wait, and the pain.  Dark branches were painstakingly detailed, and ended in pretty blossoms that went from myriad shades of pale pink, to magenta, to a bright red.
It was a feminine tattoo, perfect in every detail, just like its owner.  She squealed in delight when she finally got a good look at it.
“Give her some privacy while she gets dressed,” I snapped at the crew when Frankie was finally done.
Frankie shooed them out, following behind.  She gave me a rueful smile before she shut the door behind her.  “I’ll blast some rock so you can have some privacy.  I’d recommend you lock up after me.”
I locked the door, moving back to the table.  Danika was already on her stomach, lying down, so all I had to do was twist her until she was sideways, her hips at the edge of the table, her feet not quite touching the ground.
“Get up on your elbows,” I told her, tugging off her shorts.
“I can’t believe you’re doing this,” she said breathlessly, raising up just enough to give me access to her chest.
“No one can say I didn’t give you fair warning.”
“Frankie knows exactly what we’re doing in here.”
No shit, I thought.  “Nah,” I said.  “You just needed a minute to straighten your clothes.”
“I don’t have that many clothes.”
“That’s the problem, now, isn’t it?”  I slid my hands up her ribs, palming her bare breasts under that joke of a shirt.
I rammed into her, not stopping until my hips slammed hard against her.
She screamed, gripping the other edge of the cushioned table.
“Well, now she definitely knows what we’re doing,” I rasped, pulling out slowly.  I let go of her breasts, leaning back to watch my cock slide out of her slick entrance, cursing as her sheath gripped me tight, the curses turning into praise as I lunged back inside of her, hitting the end of her so hard it jarred us both, and she screamed again.
I bent back over her, speaking into her ear.  “Did I hurt you, sweetheart?”
“No.  More, Tristan, more.  Fast.  Please, please.”
I closed my eyes, the sound of her soft voice begging me about all I could take.
I was true to my word.  I pinned her to that tattoo table and fucked her brains out.
I came so hard, my legs just about gave out, and I was shouting nearly as loud as she was screaming.
“You like that angle, huh?”
She mumbled something in the affirmative, laying her cheek on the table, looking like she was about to drift off.
I cleaned us both up with paper towels from the bathroom that adjoined the room, slipping her shorts back on her.
I had to pick her up and set her on the table to get her upright, and even then she leaned forward against me, her head on my shoulder.  I copped a feel, completely powerless to keep my hands off her bra-free tits.
“Just remember, if you ever decide to wear something like this again, this is what will happen.  You won’t be able to get anything done, because I won’t be able to stop touching you for more than seconds at a time.”
“I need a nap,” she said, sounding half asleep already.
“I need inside of you again,” I said into her ear, already trying to work her shorts back over her hips.
Copping a feel had backfired in a hurry.  My brainless cock had taken it to heart.
I fucked her sitting up that time, leaning her back on her hands so I could watch her round breasts bounce with every jarring thrust, her shirt pulled up to her neck.
Frankie knocked loudly on the door for that round, telling us to hurry up.
I shouted loudly back for her to fuck off.
I pounded into Danika, growling, cursing, praising, all the while completely mesmerized by her naked chest.  Something about having just the tops of her shoulders covered, and the rest of her bare, was turning me into a sex-crazed maniac.
Come to think of it, everything about her turned me into a sex-crazed maniac.
She moaned almost lazily as she came that time, squeezing me like a vise for torturous, drawn out moments.
I shouted and came, laid her back on her elbows, spread her legs wider, bringing her heels up to the table, and hard again, I pushed inside of her.
Again.
She was so slick, so full of me, and I groaned and cursed and rutted mindlessly in her until my legs wouldn’t hold me for another second.
I leaned forward on my elbows as I twitched and spurted inside of her, my face in her neck, and wondered if anyone would notice if we passed out on Frankie’s table for a few hours.
“You better clean up after yourselves, you nymphomaniac horndogs!” Frankie was shouting on the other side of the door.
Who knew how long she’d been shouting?  Not me.
“I put clorox wipes by the door, lovebirds!”  she shouted, maybe five minutes later.
I blinked, wondered if I’d been sleeping, and then studied Danika, trying to figure out if she was sleeping.  She was still managing to prop herself up on her elbows high enough not to lay directly on her fresh tattoo.
“I hope she doesn’t think we’re going to use those to clean ourselves,” I muttered, trying to find the strength to stand up straight.
“I think those are for her table that we desecrated,” Danika murmured, eyes still closed.
“And the floor!  And the wall!  And everything else you touched in there!”  Frankie shouted.
“How about you work on getting thicker walls in here, Miss nosypants?” Danika shouted back without missing a beat, her face still looking relaxed enough to be asleep.
I couldn’t help it.  I laughed.  Even nearly unconscious, she could manage to dish out sass.

Did you love these excepts like I do. I can't want for more.... What do you think ? Tell me.
