Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

Perfect Chemistry Review
My, My, My, I’ve always loved a guy with ink and a motorcycle. Add in the fact that he can speak a different language and make your world flip upside down. Call the local graveyard because they are going to have to dig a hole for me.

The main male is a hot Mexican gangster. And he describes himself as just that. He is a lean mean punching machine that loves a good challenge. His name is Alex and he is AMAZING.

His leading lady in this beautiful book, that should be turned into a movie because I’d watch it, is Brittany. Brittany is all around Miss. Popular. She has the hair, the clothes, the boyfriend, and the COMPLICATED home life. In Brittany’s case her complicated home life consist of a dad who is never home (fact), a sister with a disability (fact), and her crazy mother (opinion but can be prove)

But don’t get me wrong, Alex’s life is anything but easy. Alex is the eldest man in the house so it his responsibility to take care of his family. Rather it means getting a job while he is still in school or joining the local gang so his brothers don’t have to. He is a proud Mexican and he will make sure you know it. Love, is a world Alex uses only for his family… that is until he met Brittany

A meeting of our two characters (expert from book)

“If you were a real, man you’d open the door for me instead of blocking my way,” I say admiring my own comeback even as my knees threaten to buckle.

Alex steps, back pulls the door open, and bows like he’s my butler. He’s totally mocking me, he knows it and I know it. Everyone knows it. I catch a glimpse of Sierra, still desperately searching for nothing in her pursue. She’s clueless.

“Get a life,” I tell him

“Like yours? Cabrona, let me tell you somethin’,” Alex says harshly. “Your life isn’t reality, its fake. Just like you.”

“It’s better than living my life as a loser,” I lash out, hoping my words sting as much as his words did. “Just like you.”

Grabbing Sierra’s arm, I pulled her toward the open door. Catcalls and comments follow us as we walk into the school.

That my friends… is love at first bite.

This story is fun and exciting especially when the two characters are together. Just from this expert you can tell that when Alex and Brittany are together things HEAT UP. The story is told through the point of view of both Brittany and Alex.

Brittany and Alex are from two different words in the same part of the galaxy. They have more things in common than they do different. One of those things being that they would do anything to protect the ones they love. So when their paths cross because of a project in their chemistry class… events start to come to play. Then when they both fall in love with each other their protective instincts kick in.  During their journey of falling in love, it is not a surprise that this book gets IN-TRES-TING to the MAX FAST. Join Alex and Brittany in their battle of love, commitment, honor, family, friends, exes, and more in the novel Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkele.
PS: Alex sometimes talks Spanish, so you may want to have a translator nearby.
RATING
2-Cents
PG-13
Seriously someone should start signing some contracts and writing some scripts. This could be the IT MOVIE of the week or year. For mature readers.
A+
it’s better than never having to eat vegetables again X the last number in the Universe
5 carts
My emotions went through so many drops, turns, and loops; I can’t see straight.
5 eyes
Back and front covers are soooo eye catching. I means a dark room and two teens so close to kissing that grabs everyone attention. Just to ask WHY?
5 hearts
For it’s cute and mature romance that had me laughing and crying at the same time. I also screamed and threw that book a few times. (I get overly emotional with books. You shall learn to love me for it)
5 stars
OVERALL  AWESOMENESS

                I LOVED it…
You should READ IT
And TRUST ME you won’t regret it

More quotes from the book:

What’s the prayer you’re supposed to say right before you know you’re going to die

Brittany: “Was I happy with Alex?”
Sierra: “Obsessed is more like it. But yeah, I saw you happy. Happier than you’ve been in a really, really long time. With someone you like that much, the lows are as low as the highs are high. Does that make sense?”
Brittany: “It does. It also makes me sound bipolar.”
Sierra: “Love will do that to a person”
