I can READ… and WATCH Harry Potter

I have finally joined the TRUE FANDOM of HARRY POTTER. I have now read and watched one of the best series in the world. I have heard many people say that the books were better than the movies. Don’t get me wrong, I ‘m not disagreeing with these people but I’m also not completely agreeing.

xccThe Sorcerer’s Stonexc

The beginning of any story is the supposed to be the part in which you should be captured for the future. I am truly sorry to report that neither the book nor the movie did that for me. That is why I am happy I saw the movie of this book first because I found this book extremely boring. It literally put me to sleep every time I read it. It took me two weeks to finish this book to my usual two day read.

sdPrisoner of Azkabansdd

Okay, Prisoner of Azkaban is like my favorite Harry Potter movie ever. I absolutely love that movie. It’s one of the main reasons I started reading the books. I read this book and to be perfectly honest I thought the movie was better than the book. I mean the book does fill in some grasp from the movie but I honestly enjoyed the movie more

opOrder of the Phoenixopp

Now although I love the movie/ book of Prisoner of Azkaban, I going to say that Order of the Phoenix is the best Harry Potter story EVER! I enjoyed the movie and the book equally which doesn’t usually happen for me. This feeling is all new and I like it a lot.

rtHalf-blood Princertt

I don’t mean to be rude to the directors, actors, J.K Rowling, or the cast/crew but I didn’t like this movie what-so-ever, so I was a little scared to read this book because of the movie. I am happy to report that the book was a lot better than the movie. Normally I don’t like comparing the books to their movies but for this case it is highly needed. This is not one of the best Harry Potter movies but the book hits the charts.

I have yet to read The Chamber of Secrets,The Goblet of Fire or Deathly Hallows but they are all on my list of To-Reads.

Now that I’ve read the books and seen the movies, I am happy to finally join the TRUE FANDOM of HARRY POTTER. The fandom is always looking for more members, so you should try to read the book. Then see which of the two you like best.

Halo by Alexandra Adornetto

Halo is a whole other kind of story.

Angels! I love angels. Personally, I like fallen angels more than angelic angels but who am I to judge because I would die for this book and it has nothing to do with fallen angels.

3 angels sent from the Heavens; Gabriel, Ivy, and Bethany (are main character) These angels are sent to help the people of a small town by finding and destroying the EVIL

Only things don't go as planned.

First, I think it should be noted that Angels do have the ability to lie. Because these Angels do have the ability to lie. Because these Angels do lie. Now, they don't like a lot nor do they tell major lies but they do lie, white lies. For example, they lied about where they are from; about their parents; and about being human.

Gabriel, Ivy, and Bethany- Beth- are dead set on changing this town and destroying the EVIL, in the literal sense. What' the easiest way to find EVIL- enter high school. And that is just what Gabriel and Beth do. Gabriel as a music teacher and Bath as a student. Remember those plans that went wrong, that started with a boy and some very pretty eyes. This boy is Xavier and I wouldn't trade him for anything. Neither would Beth. If you guess what I just implied... Good Job; if not you should read it again until you do.

Beth, the angel, and Xavier, the human, fall in love. And I'm not talking puppy love. I'm saying head over heels, I'll die for you love. And the book didn't even have to get all Breaking Dawn Part I/ PG-13 for it to happen. If you don't get what I'm trying to say... I'm sorry.

Any who, what's always good about books like this?  The love triangles. Our third corner is Jake. Honestly, I love the name Jake and usually all Jake's are good guys. Jake from Halo has tainted the name Jake and I feel so sorry for all the Jakes in the world having to be compared to this guy. But I will give Jake from Halo one thing; he sure can write.

She had the face of an angel
I saw mirrors in her eyes
We were the same, she and I
Both bound by potent lies

In him I saw my future
In him I saw my friend
In him I saw my destiny
Both my beginning and my end

This poem was by Beth and Jake. Jake wrote the first part obviously about Beth, but  poor, sweet, I've-only-ever-had-one-crush/boyfriend- Beth couldn't see that until it was too late. Meanwhile, she wrote her part about Xavier.

I love everything about Xavier
  • he's protective- usually in a cute way
  • sweet
  • nice
  • seems to be unafraid of almost everything
"Where we come from, people are not judged by their words," Gabriel said
Xavier was unfazed. "Then you'll have to wait and judge me by my actions."
  • loves Beth
  • and kind of saves the world
What's not to love.

And I just love Beth. Sometimes she's more naïve than me and it's awesome. I wouldn't change anything about her story. Beth has got an unique point of view

"One of the most frustrating words in the human language, as far as I could tell, was love."

And how right you are, Beth.

This book is AWESOME but at one point does go a little slow but trust me when I say it will make it up in the end.

You should read this because yes, your life and the lives of many Americans around you count on it.

Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa

Can I be speechless? Well the answer is yes and no, so I just asked a trick question. Okay, let's forget I just said any of that and start over.

I'm speechless! Yes, I said it. I am in complete shock of this book Lost Prince.

Julie Kagawa is a gift from the Angels. This lady is beyond awesome.

Her other stories:
  • Iron King
  • Iron Daughter
  • Iron Knight
  • Iron Legends
Are like before this one. So if you haven't read them yet you should for a better understanding of this book. Seriously through if you haven't read any of the past series go read them and stop reading this.

The following is a quick recap of the story:
  • Megan and Ash are married
  • Ethan is all grown-up like 16 years old grown up
  • Megan and Ash had a baby boy(who shall not be named)
  • Said baby boy is all grown up and in love
  • Ethan hates the Fey
  • Ethan meets a girl and his nephew
  • Ethan, his nephew, and his girl (Kenzie) kinda save the world
    • Like sister, like brother
    • Like mother, like son
Did I miss anything?

Drama, Action, and Puck the PPERFECT COMBINATION for a Julie Kagawa book.
The lady has done it again Find out for yourself!!!!!

READ THIS BOOK AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

And some quotes:

ETHAN

"If the damn fey wanted me as an enemy, bring it on. I'd be their worst nightmare."

Rule... show no fear when dealing with Fair Folk

KENZIE, ETHAN, GRIMALKIN (the cat)

"Huh," Kenzie muttered, walking along besides me. "You know, if all cats are like him, I'm kinda glad they don't talk."

Grimalkin Knowledge- ETHAN and the cat

"Do you know what happens to Fey whom no one remembers anymore, human?"... "They disappear," Grimalkin continued...

LEANANSIDHE to ETHAN

"Bit of advice, darling," she said as we started to leave. "Unless you want to find yourself in a dragon's lair or on the wrong end of a witch's bargain, it's never a good idea to annoy the cat."

Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side

What do you do when you find out you are adopted? Better yet when you find out that you are actually a Romanian Vampire Princess. Deny, deny, and deny until you fall in love with the vamp who is supposed to be your husband/vampire prince.

Personally, I'm still trying to figure out how one forgets they are a vampire princess of a vampire clan. I mean, I know she was barely born before she was adopted and moved to the USA but something in you has got to know these things. Like a switch in you or something. Especially when you see your husband-to-be, Mr. Tall, Dark, Creepy and Handsome, stalking you at your bus stop and is at school calling you your Romanian name. Then, he shows up at your house with an invitation from your mom. Plus he starts talking nonsense about vampires, contracts, deaths, parents, clans, and whatever else. Next, he decides that he's going to make you see that you like him. Breathing his hot breathe near your ear making you flush right in front of your parents. Something should have switched in you- SERIOUSLY !!!!!!!!

Time goes on. Things happen. Kisses are experienced. Almost-kisses are also happening.

Let's not forget what happens right when you fall in love with this vamp. He turns on you. I'm mean who does that. It's like doing all your homework and not turning it in. DRAMA to the extreme creeps it's way into the epic story.

Our Romanian Vampire Princess is named Faith and our vampire prince is named Lucius. Plus, we have the BFF of Faith and Cosmo expert, Mindy.

Mindy + Cosmo + Lucius + Faith + The Packwoods( Faith Parent's) + the girl that I can't remember the name of that kind of dates Lucius = A WHOLE LOT OF AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly, I couldn't find a quote that really stuck with me for this book, but let me give you some much needed wisdom.

READ
THIS
BOOK
and have a nice day.

Iron Legends by Julie Kagawa

Hey everyone, how's your summer vacation going?

Well, mine is okay. Now, that we are done with the small talk let's get to the review

First things first, if you didn't already know that this isn't a story of itself. It's a collection of short stories from the 4 previous books
  • Iron King
  • Iron Daughter
  • Iron Queen
  • Iron Knight
And Julie Kagawa doesn't disappoint as she takes us through the world of the Fey. There are 3 shorts (short stories) in this novella.

In the first short, we are back with Megan and Ash as they travel to the Winter Court

"I swore I would bring you back"
- Ash to Meghan

In the second story, we travel with Ash and Puck as they answer a call from the Exile Queen, Leanansidhe, herself. And can someone please remind me what Leanansidhe did to get exiled.

"Sometimes it sucks being right all the time."
-Puck

Finally, we met all three of our favorite characters together. News is revealed and they are on yet another quest to save the Fey world. Puck is as funny as ever. Ash is as protective and adorable as always. And Meghan, she's just AWESOME!!! And this whole quest started because of the oracle

"I bring a warning"
-The oracle

Got to love trouble.

This book also includes a bunch of quotes and extras. And an expert from Iron Prince- which may be as good as the other Iron Fey books.

It's a read when you need 2 pass time; it's also a quick read but be warned the last short stories is extremely emotional

ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!
