Twisted by Gena Showalter

Idiot! They are all a bunch of idiots. Not the author, of course, but the characters. And they are not dumb idiots, just idiots that need a good “pimp slap” to knock some sense into them.

Twisted continues where Unraveled left off. Not wanting to give away spoilers I’m just going to skip straight to the characters.

Aden- hot and sexy (Victoria’s words not mine completely :D) human thing, who is an orphan. Has a girlfriend who is a vampire princess. He used to have 4 different souls in his head, not including his own, but now he has 3. Did I mention that he is a vampire king with an army of shifters, of the werewolf sense, and vampires, with living demon inside him that he can control? He also very much loved his girlfriend

“He’d rather meet her, and deal with this, but he wouldn’t. And that was love”

Victoria- The vampire princess who is dating the vampire king. She’s strong, independent and becoming more human every day. And she’s “adapting” to having living with the consequences of saving Aden’s life. A new development is that she’s switching her inner demon with something of Aden’s. I will leave you to guess that something.

Riley- God, I love and hate this sexy werewolf protector, who is sometimes boyfriend, sometimes not boyfriend to Mary Ann. He loves with a protected heart. His best friend is Victoria; he is also her protector. On an interesting note Victoria and him have a HIDDEN SECRET. That is so JUICY and almost destructive to any readers who are sensitive to the books, like me.
“Laughing, he stood and blew her a kiss.”

Let us not forget the fact that he is sooo in love with Mary Ann. Mary Ann and Riley are SO CUTE together. If you ever thought that it should have been Riley and Victoria, Mary Ann and Aden, or Mary Ann and Tucker… you bring shame upon your family.

Mary Ann- She is sweet, independent, and currently running from all supernatural creatures because they all want to kill her. She is a drainer (and if you don’t know what that is then you need to reread the past two books) and she has changed A LOT. For better or worse, is for you to decide. Honestly, I think she is mush cooler now. She makes Riley work to spend time with her and he is nothing but cute while he is going it *sigh*. Plus, she  keeping familiar company.

Now let us all reflect over that fact that almost everyone is getting marks all over the place. Aden, Riley, Victoria, Mary Ann, and Tucker (oops :D)

Aden and Victoria’s relationship heat up as they battle a new enemy and a whole mess of new challenges. Riley and Mary Ann’s relationship continues on their roller coaster but we wouldn’t have them any other way.

Gena Showalter doesn’t give you a second to waste as you turn page after page in the third and hopefully not lost book in the Intertwined series.

The action in this novel is at medium speed but the book leaves you with no dull moment. As you travel from Aden’s point of view to Victoria’s, Riley’s, Mary Ann’s, and even Tucker’s. New characters and old characters return with new details.
The end of the book brought tears to my eyes. It was then that I realized that this might really be the last book. But then I got upset, angry, to be honest I was down right furious. Who makes a story this good, then leaves a cliff hanger like this, on the LAST BOOK. It’s rude, unconstitutional, I’m almost sure it’s breaking at least one amendment and it’s PURE GENIUS.
Thank you, Gena Showalter and HarlequinTEEN for giving me this gift. *sigh*

It’s a MUST read, steal, capture, kidnap, or whatever. This book has a life of its own. At  one point while reading this book, the pages just starting turning themselves.
